Meeting Facilities

Shore Oaks Seaside Inn has a living room, library, and a large dining room perfect for meals and meetings.
The shorefront gazebo offers an informal conversation area for group breakouts.
Several cottages have large living rooms that often double as breakout discussion areas.
The historic Oakland House Rusticator Restaurant has 4 dining rooms, the largest is perfect for groups up to 50.
Smaller groups can break out into the other dining rooms or meals can be served to the attendees in these rooms.
The 150 year-old post and beam barn is a rustic site for warm weather meetings. It has a stone fireplace and historic bric-a-brac all around. Projection equipment, easels, and other equipment available.

Overnight Accommodations for Business Meeting Attendees
Shore Oaks Seaside Inn has 10 bedrooms in the turn-of-the-Century Arts and Crafts style. Fifteen cottages accommodate another 30-60 people. The cottage accommodations are country casual, comfortable, and cozy.
Business Meeting and Conference Meals
We customize meals to meet the requirements of your group. Our culinary staff can provide you with a full range of snacks, appetizers, buffets, box lunches, "on-the-beach" lobster picnics, 5-course dinners and a wide selection of beverages.
Our skilled staff is capable of serving large wedding buffets for up to 175 guests, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, family reunions, and elaborate wine tasting dinner events that are open to the public. Although our bar consists of fine wines and brews, we can provide expanded bar services to your group with advance notice.
Activities on-site:
Stay right here for a little relaxation and to stretch your legs. There are lake and ocean beaches, hiking trails, organic and native medicinal plants gardens, dock and moorings, and rowboats. You'll see seals, loons, and other wildlife in the course of a day here.
Activities Nearby:
Your attendees will find plenty to do: there's Holbrook Island Sanctuary, the coastal villages of Stonington, Blue Hill, and Castine, art galleries and pottery shops, WoodenBoat School, Deer Isle Country Club Golf Course, the Mail Boat to Isle au Haut for starters.
Meeting Times:
We prefer to host meetings in our less busy off-peak season. Then, our entire complex may be solely occupied by your group. You'll find this a very productive time for your organization.
