THE ACCOMMODATIONS:
Shore Oaks Seaside Inn is a classic 1907 Maine coast cottage. It has a living room with fireplace, dining room, library, and a wrap-around porch with a spectacular view of the Bay and the setting sun. There is a half-mile of oceanfront and hiking trails. The gazebo is right at water's edge.

THE VIEW:
Innkeeper Jim Littlefield's grandmother tended the light at nearby Pumpkin Island Lighthouse. Today, the lighthouse is privately owned and viewable from our shore, gleaming white in the early morning light or silhouetted by the setting sun in the evening.

DINNERS:
Our Rusticator Restaurantis open into the fall and is taking reservations for dinner Tuesdays through Saturdays from 5:15 PM 'til closing. Other nearby restaurants open during the fall are Marlintini's Cafe, The Food Co-op, Arborvine Fine Dining, Blue Moose, The Fishnet (drive-up local take-out fare), all in Blue Hill. Owned by our own wonderful Executive Chef Rich Hanson, the Cleonice Mediterranean Bistro is in Ellsworth. Others may be open on a shortened week!
