From Farm to Table . . . A Taste of Maine

Last season, the Oakland House’s bright and airy porch-like dining room, which overlooks the gardens and lawn sloping down to the shore, served country breakfasts for the first time in 10 years.  In 2019 our farm-to-table restaurant will offer dinners also, six-days-a-week to guests and the public alike.  Expect simple Downeast meals and the all-important lobster.

Also this summer we bring back the weekly lobster shore dinner for guests and public diners.   Our Oakland House guests enjoy special attention and hospitality and may request lobster dinners catered at their cottage, the beach or even a private island. We take care of the setup, cooking and cleanup.
